Connect AI (ChatGPT, Claude & Gemini)

Connect ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini to CollectHolo and manage your whole collection in plain language. Import your entire portfolio from a spreadsheet in a single conversation, ask what it's worth, look up prices, and add or update holdings — all from chat. It is a PRO feature, and it connects securely — you simply sign in on collectholo.com.

Import your whole collection from a spreadsheet

This is the fastest way to get a big collection into CollectHolo. If your list lives in Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers, or a CSV, you can simply hand it to the AI:

1. Open ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini with CollectHolo connected (see the steps below).
2. Attach or paste the spreadsheet — or share the Google Sheet link — and say something like “Add all of these cards to my CollectHolo portfolio.”
3. The AI reads each row, matches it to the right card or sealed product, and adds it to your collection, asking you to confirm before it writes anything.

For the cleanest match, include at least the card name and set. Helpful extra columns are the card number, quantity, condition (for example Near Mint), language, and what you paid (price, currency, and date) so your cost basis and profit are tracked from day one. The AI copes well with messy sheets, and you can just as easily describe your list in words instead of attaching a file.

Tip: for a very large one-shot import of thousands of rows, the CSV / spreadsheet upload on the site is the quickest route. The AI connector is perfect for adding batches conversationally, filling in gaps, and tidying up your collection as you go.

What else you can do

• Portfolio value: “What is my collection worth?” — the total, and the breakdown by set or by type (raw / graded / sealed).
• Prices: “What is a PSA 10 Charizard from Obsidian Flames going for?”
• Search: find any card or sealed product and its current market price.
• Graded: graded market prices and PSA population reports.
• Wishlist: “Add the 151 booster box to my wishlist.”
• Manage: add cards, change quantity or condition, or set a manual price — every change asks for your confirmation first.

Connect ChatGPT

You need a ChatGPT plan that supports connectors (Plus, Pro, Team, or Enterprise).

1. Open chatgpt.com, then go to your profile menu → Settings → Connectors, and turn on Developer mode.
2. Choose Create to add a custom connector. Name it CollectHolo; the description is optional — for example “Access my CollectHolo card collection: check portfolio value, look up card, sealed and graded prices, and add or manage holdings and wishlist items.”
3. Paste this as the MCP server URL: https://www.collectholo.com/api/mcp
4. Set Authentication to OAuth.
5. Click Connect, sign in on collectholo.com, and choose Allow.

Connect Claude

1. Open claude.ai/settings/connectors (or Settings → Connectors in the Claude desktop app).
2. Choose Add custom connector.
3. Paste this as the URL: https://www.collectholo.com/api/mcp
4. Click Connect, sign in on collectholo.com, and choose Allow.

Connect Gemini

Custom connectors are available in the Gemini web app for eligible accounts.

1. Open gemini.google.com and go to Settings & help → Connected Apps.
2. Choose Add a custom app and paste this as the MCP server URL: https://www.collectholo.com/api/mcp
3. Choose Next, then sign in on collectholo.com and choose Allow.

Privacy & safety

• Reads (value, prices, search) run automatically; any change to your collection asks for your confirmation in chat first.
• The connector only ever sees your own collection — never anyone else's.
• You sign in securely on collectholo.com — the AI never sees your password.
• Disconnect at any time from the connector settings in ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.

Tips for a clean import

• Review before confirming — the AI shows you what it is about to add so you can catch a wrong match.
• Be specific for tricky cards: include the set and card number, for example Charizard 4/102.
• Mention quantity and condition when they vary; otherwise it assumes 1 and Near Mint.
• Add what you paid so cost basis and profit are tracked over time.
