Connect an AI assistant to CollectHolo via MCP

CollectHolo uses MCP, short for Model Context Protocol, to let ChatGPT and Claude work with your collection. Connect ChatGPT or Claude, sign in to CollectHolo, then ask about your portfolio in plain language. MCP access is a PRO feature.

What you can do

• Understand your portfolio: ask for its total value, cost basis, profit or loss, top holdings, or a breakdown by set and product type.
• Research cards and sealed products: search the catalog, check current raw or graded prices, and view PSA population reports.
• Manage your collection: add holdings, update their quantity or condition, set a manual price, and add items to a wishlist.
• Review and fix transactions: list your purchases and sales with their notes, correct a price, date, store or note, record a sale, or delete a purchase or sale.
• Track orders: paste an order confirmation and the assistant adds the order and its products, so they show up as ordered until you confirm the delivery.

Be specific when a card could have several versions. Including the game, set, collector number, print, language, condition, or grade gives the assistant the best chance of finding the right item.

Import a spreadsheet with AI

If your AI client can read a spreadsheet, you can attach or paste a list and ask it to add the items to your CollectHolo collection. This works well for smaller batches and for filling in gaps as you go.

1. Connect CollectHolo to your AI assistant using the steps below.
2. Attach or paste your list, then ask it to add the cards or sealed products to your CollectHolo collection.
3. Review the proposed matches and changes before you let the assistant continue. For removals, CollectHolo requires an explicit confirmation.

Include at least a card name and set, and the game if it is not Pokémon. Collector number, quantity, condition, language, grade, purchase price, currency, and purchase date all make the result more accurate and help preserve your cost basis.

For a one-time import with thousands of rows, use the CSV and spreadsheet importer on the site. It is built for large files and gives you a dedicated review step before anything is saved.

Set up the MCP connection

Add the following URL when ChatGPT or Claude asks for an MCP server. When it asks how to authenticate, choose OAuth, sign in on collectholo.com, then select Allow.

Only ChatGPT and Claude can be connected. Each app keeps one connection; connecting it again replaces the previous one. Connecting your own or third-party apps, bots or scripts is not allowed under our Terms of Use.

Connect ChatGPT

Custom apps are available only on eligible ChatGPT plans and workspaces. In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Apps or Connectors. Enable developer mode if your workspace shows that option, create a custom app called CollectHolo, and enter the MCP server URL above. Choose OAuth when prompted and complete the CollectHolo sign-in.

Connect Claude

In Claude or Claude Desktop, open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector. Paste the MCP server URL, connect, and finish the CollectHolo OAuth sign-in. You can also start from Claude's connector settings.

Privacy and control

• The MCP connection can access only the CollectHolo account you sign in to.
• CollectHolo uses OAuth, so your AI client never receives your CollectHolo password.
• Review proposed additions and updates in your AI client. Removing a holding or deleting a purchase or sale requires an explicit confirmation. A deleted purchase stays visible as voided.
• Disconnect CollectHolo at any time from the connected-app settings in your AI client.
