Best TCG Collector alternatives (2026)

In short

  • ✓TCG Collector has one of the deepest Pokémon variant databases, so switch only if its limits get in your way.
  • ✓The usual reasons: the free tier allows a single list, prices and collection value are USD only, there is no cost-basis profit & loss, and there is no iOS app.
  • ✓CollectHolo ranks first here with euro pricing from Cardmarket, free profit & loss, graded and sealed valuation, and web plus iOS.

TCG Collector is excellent at what it was built for: cataloguing every Pokémon variant across English and Japanese sets and tracking set completion. Its variant depth is a genuine strength, and its Premium tier is inexpensive at about $3.99 per month.

People look elsewhere when they hit its edges. The free tier allows one list of 300 cards, its market prices and collection value are shown in US dollars only, and it does not track what you paid, so there is no real profit & loss. It is also web-based with an Android wrapper and no iOS app. The alternatives below cover those gaps while keeping catalog depth.

  1. 1

    CollectHolo

A free Pokémon collection tracker with Cardmarket, TCGPlayer, eBay and Fanatics prices. PRO adds extra market tools.

    Strengths

    • ✓The only tracker for German-language single cards, priced with Cardmarket (EUR): Europe-first, not US-centric
    • ✓Core tracking is free: portfolio value, profit & loss, wishlist, prices and leaderboard
    • ✓Prices from Cardmarket (EUR), TCGPlayer (USD), eBay and Fanatics graded sales in one valuation
    • ✓iOS, Android and web app; graded and sealed valuation; six card languages (EN/DE/IT/JA/ZH/KO)
    • ✓Optional PRO adds Market Pulse, Ending Soon and Recent Sales on top of the free core

    Limitations

    • ×Focused on Pokémon, not 25+ trading card games
    • ×Some advanced market tools (Market Pulse, Ending Soon, Recent Sales) are PRO
    • ×The free tier caps the collection at around 500 entries (counted per card variant, not per copy); PRO lifts it

    Strengths

    • ✓Free at its core, with a low-cost Pro tier (about $5/month)

    • ×TCGPlayer/USD-centric; no Cardmarket (EU) prices
    • ×iOS app is not out yet (web and Android only); lighter graded and sealed depth
    • ×Free tier is limited to about one list and one deck; unlimited lists, binder view and the graded catalog need Pro

  4. 4

Established European Pokémon catalog and collection app, with an iOS app and an optional Plus subscription.

    Strengths

  5. 5

    PriceCharting

Free price reference for cards, video games and comics, with an iOS app.

    Strengths

How we ranked these

We rank by what TCG Collector users tend to miss: a usable free tier, euro pricing for European buyers, cost-basis profit & loss, graded and sealed valuation, and an iOS app. Catalog and variant depth still counts, because that is why people chose TCG Collector in the first place.

Published by CollectHolo, so we rank ourselves first and explain why. TCG Collector's strengths are named above, and every alternative lists its drawbacks too.

Frequently asked questions

CollectHolo ranks first for collectors who want euro pricing from Cardmarket, free profit & loss against what you paid, graded and sealed valuation, and both web and iOS. pkmn.gg is the closest free alternative for set and variant tracking with a deck builder.

It depends on the axis. TCG Collector's free tier allows one list of 300 cards, and pkmn.gg's free tier is similarly limited to one list and one deck. Collectr's free tier is more generous across 25+ games, and CollectHolo's free tier covers portfolio value, profit & loss and prices with a cap of around 500 entries.

CollectHolo, PokéCardex and Pokefolio use Cardmarket, the European reference, so values appear in euros. TCG Collector currently shows prices in US dollars only.

If your priority is the deepest variant catalog and set-completion tracking across English and Japanese sets, staying is reasonable, especially with its low-cost Premium. Switch if you need euro pricing, profit & loss or an iOS app.
