Released 09/18/2026
Anniversary release marking 30 years of the Pokémon TCG since the Japanese launch in October 1996 and the international launch in 1998 to 1999. First celebration set with a deliberately near-simultaneous worldwide rollout: September 16 2026 in Japan, September 18 2026 internationally. This closes the cross-region gap that left collectors waiting two weeks at the 2021 25th Anniversary launch (Celebrations EN October 8, 25th Anniversary Collection JP October 22). Boosters break the Pokémon TCG standard with six all-foil cards per pack at ¥360, versus the usual five-card ¥200 packs, and ¥7,200 booster boxes of 20 packs. Introduces a brand-new rarity teased on Pokémon Day 2026 via the Pikachu, Mewtwo and Mew sell-sheet artwork carrying a distinctive opalescent sheen. A Classics Collection subset reprints chase cards from earlier eras, including Pikachu, Zekrom GX (Team Up, SM9), Solgaleo GX (Sun & Moon Base, SM1) and Lugia (Aquapolis). Companion releases: a 30th Celebration Premium Deck Set featuring Espeon and Umbreon on launch day, then nine 30th Celebration Card Sets on October 16 2026 covering every regional Starter trio from Kanto Bulbasaur/Charmander/Squirtle through Paldea Sprigatito/Fuecoco/Quaxly.
